When was Baby Yoda born?
Who would ever expect that we were all in for a good surprise with Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian? We first got a glimpse of these species in 1980 in The Empire Strikes Back. Yoda, the unforgettable legendary Jedi Master.
This time an infant that resembles him is the biggest star of the moment. He is enigmatic, super cute and cuddly, and certified Force-sensitive, and already has abilities way before he could even utter a word!
The Mandalorian is set only a few years after The Return of the Jedi, which is the third film in the first Star Wars trilogy. Where was Baby Yoda that time? Were Yoda’s last words referred to him when he said, There is another? Was he referring to Princess Leia? Or maybe another of his species?
Baby Yoda was born around 41 BBY and was held at a defended encampment run by Nikto mercenaries on Arvala-7 during the New Republic Era. Like Yoda, nothing is known about their true origin and where they came from.
Right now, all we know is Baby Yoda is 50 years old but is still considered an infant in their species. There are a lot of questions raised about the coincidence of Baby Yoda and Anakin Skywalker being born in the same year. Is there a connection or even a symbolical meaning to this? Why are their paths entwined?
There’s a lot to look forward to, and the fans are excited again. The emotions of followers are all hyped now for all the surprises and revelations in the coming storyline and plots in the Star Wars saga.
We are in for a real good forthcoming installment of this epic. Baby Yoda might be the missing link in the Skywalker story as it seems he plays a very integral role in this saga.
Or maybe, Baby Yoda leads the pack as the future of Star Wars.
